Buying clothes online is easy once you know your measurements. It takes five minutes with a soft tape measure, and it saves a lot of returns.
What you'll need
A soft tape measure, a mirror and a well-fitting bra. If you don't have a tape measure, a piece of string and a ruler work too.
The three measurements that matter
- Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest part, usually just above the belly button.
- Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feet together.
Keep the tape snug but not tight, and write the numbers down in centimetres.
Using a size guide
Every Ease & Ivy product page has a size guide with AU sizes. Match your measurements to the chart. If you're between two sizes, choose the bigger one for a relaxed fit, especially in pants and sets.
Shoes
Stand on a piece of paper, trace around your foot and measure from your heel to your longest toe. Compare it with the shoe size chart. Measure in the afternoon, when feet are slightly larger.
